maybe as a listener of classical music, your wife is most likely losing hearing of the high end frequencies because of screeching strings, high pitched percussion overtones, etc. at high amplitudes. losing mid-range and higher end frequency hearing might be more noticeable in everyday life perhaps because they are more common tones (voice, etc.). just a thought.



every time your ears ring is the last time youll hear that particular frequency. that sound is actually the cells in the ear dying and screaming for help.
