Default 2013 Mazda 3 Transmission Pan Torque Specs

I am looking for the torque specs for the transmission pan bolts of a 2013 Mazda 3 Sedan. Specifically: 2013 Mazda Mazda3 i 4 Cylinders F 2.0L FI DOHC 122 CID

If there is a full manual out there somewhere, I would like to have that as well!

Thanks,
Danno

This is also I believe without a gasket? If you choose to use a gasket (unless it is factory specified) instead of sealer only then you must snug the bolts , let the transmission get to operating temperature and then re-snug them. Over tightening gaskets can cause them to be pressed out from there sealing area not normally designed for a gasket and cause an eventual leak.

Because this meaning "SNUG" is different depending on what country it is used.. LOL

SNUG= a way of saying they're feeling a little tight (for a fastener use common sence and not a gorillas approach to tightening)

8-10nm = 70.806 -88.5075 in-lb

@Callisto This WILL be with a gasket. I would like to tighten them a little more precisely than "snug". Would 6nm be too much? Or is there a spec out there for that?

Thanks!

Unless the company you purchased the gasket from i.e. Fel-pro, Mccord, etc., and they give recommendation for torques specifications and unless there is listed OE MAZDA a pan gasket then you can go by torques specification, you are changing the engineered design for a none gasket area and there is no real torques values so you need it "SNUG" up and recheck to prevent leaks as I suggested making sure a good seal without bending or distorting to shape of the pans flange which would likely cause it to leak.

All fasteners have a torque value depending on what grade they are and how they are being used. The exception is in your example that the area may not have come with a gasket and now you are using one.

To be sure so we understand that I am giving generalized information about uses a gasket in an area that did not come factory with a gasket, I did not look at your exact model year and see what it came factory MAZDA with or without a pan gasket.
