Default 2012 Mazda 3 Rear Lip Spoiler Install

I have a chance to buy a new lip spoiler for our son's 2012 Mazda 3 i touring 4 door sedan. It is a new part but the wrong color. I was thinking of buying this and repainting it to the color of his car (Dolphin Gray).

I was wondering how much it would cost to paint and / or if this is possible. Any advice would be great.

Also, does anybody know where I can get the installation instructions which Mazda made for these? I was hoping to download or get a pdf. It looks like I will have to drill holes and any advice here would also be really great.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing from you!

Where in the world are you???????

Your best bet would be to visit local body shops for a visual quote.

Re instructions, contact your local Mazda parts department.

i am in Mexico on assignment & traveling. Going to buy the spoiler and have it delivered so I can work on the car there. I can't go to a local body shop or Mazda dealer easily now (thanks for your common sense advise).

Maybe somebody else can assist.

Have a great day and thanks for responding!

Doubt these do any good for air flow. Had one on our VW Jetta.

Both it and the Mazda3 collect crud from the top of the trunk lid to the bumper.
