Default rear lip sppiler and fog light

I regret that I did not ask the fog light option when buying the car.......am now tempted to install one. there are posts talking about this, but limited to only the light set. I understand the 3 came pre-wired for the fog light, but how to install the switch near the steering column is not clear, anybody done that?

Also, I like the look that the lip spoiler bring to the car, but the OEM is outragously expensive ($360).....any suggestions on finding a cheaper one? Thanks.

If you're installing the OEM fog lights then all you do is install the lights in the front bumper, plug them into the existing wiring, and then replace the turn signal stalk with the one that has the fog switch on it.

Thanks, icspots, I thought the fog light switch is a separate one, like the one I have on the MPV. It's interesting that the switch is on the turn signal stalk. How much did you pay for your light and the stalk?

it does come with a seperate switch but u do not have to use it. if u want to use all you have to do is remove the black switch cover next to the dash dimmer switch. there is a prewired harness there for the switch

Thanks, icspots,...

"Spots" has a hatchback... an S model. They come std w/fog lights.

And BTW: It would've been a lot cheaper and easier if you had made those items part of the original deal. However, there is always eBay... not that I'm endorsing them for many hard parts mind you....
I've seen these two pieces on there pretty regularly. You should be able to get them just as easily.
