I have a 2004 with a seized engine and sent it to my uncle's transmission shop fix it and he was able to obtain a 2006 motor with low miles, but now that it's in the car it's not working because some of the components are slightly different. Is there a way to make the newer motor work in my car or does only the 2004-2005 motors work in my car? What components are compatible and which ones aren't?

 

as far as i know the rpm signal is a different wire on the PCM side, other than that the only thing i could suggest is an 06 ecu, ill try looking up the wiring
