Default Skyactiv-G different power outputs.

Hello everyone!

I recently got my brand new 2023 facelift Mazda 2! In Greece, its offered with the 1.5 Skyactiv-G engine with 3 different power outputs 75-90-115 PS. Mine has the 90 PS but I'm thinking of increasing it to 115 PS lately. Does anyone know if something like that is possible, say, at the dealer? Or how the same engine achieves the 3 different outputs in general?

Thanks in advance!

Yes I had mine remapped by a tuner, if you watch this video:
You can see that not only is the max PS higher it also keeps the torque from dropping off.

Soooooo keep in mid that MAZDA rarely uses the certification to post actual power an engine develops. That said while we can all "GUESS" to the answer to your question IMHO based on seeing ECU maps that they are not different from US, Canada and other countries?

Document SAE J2723 specifies the procedure to be used for a manufacturer to certify the net power and torque rating of a production engine according to SAE J1349® or the gross engine power of a production engine according to SAE J1995®

Read and learn more about this here:

About SAE J1349® Certified Power - Standards Development - Standards - SAE International

Are you certain they are all exactly the same engine?

In my market there are two 1.5 petrol engines, one without i-stop & one with i-stop. The non istop engine has less power and I know it has different valve springs.
