Default Shift lock location and fuse location

My wifes 2012 Mazda 2 manual trannie can not shift out of park. Where is the shift lock release button and is there a FUSE connected to this? I looked in User Manual and nada. BIG thanks & have a Great 2022.

Must put mind in gear before typing. It is an AUTO transmission. I'm bad.

Found the button on the shift so can now get it out of park. Nothing electrical is working no clock showing, no brake lights, no front lights when the ignition is turned on. She drove the car about 5 days ago and it was working. I wonder if a new battery mite do the trick.

You need to diagnose the brake lights. The brake light switch controls the shift lock.
