Afternoon,

I’m at a bit of a loose end with my 2018 Mazda and the key fobs. The car can no longer be locked or unlocked with the fobs but the start stop function works if you press the button with the key fob. It’s a 2018 standard Mazda 2. I’ve tried replacing the batteries in both fobs but the same issues persist. I was told by a garage that the whole immobiliser will need replacing but this issue has been ongoing for about 6 months without getting any worse and as I say the start and stop does seem to function.

im confused as although the lock and unlock functions don’t seem to work on the fob the fact it starts and stops ok surely means the issue isn’t too major?

can anyone help me I’m beginning to lose my mind.
