Default Clicking clutch

Hi guys - Hope you can help?
Just bought a 2010 Mazda 2 and have noticed clicking clutch. Seen lots of reports on this for many Mazda models. Is this normal?
I thought it may have been return spring so lubed that but still the same. I may try a bit of WD40 and see if that does anything.
Called Mazda and they said MSC and wanted £135 (1 hours labour) just to diagnose so sod that. I mentioned about there being lots of reports on the subject to no avail and asked if its ever been a recall issue but they never let on.
Other wise car drives great and is fine but this is beyond annoying as you can feel it in your foot everytime.
Cheers.

Weird. Thought this was a common thing that people would be able to help with.
