Hello, when I release the driver seat belt to exit the vehicle, it far too often only partially retracts into the pillar. It then hangs there, just waiting for me to close the door on the buckle.

Sometimes it works, more often, it only partially retracts. This is actually also a problem on at least two other seats as well. It behaves as though the springs have weakened or there is some sort of obstruction slowing it up.

Suggestions for resolution appreciated.

Get some mild detergent and gently clean the seat belt webbing over its full length
( don't saturate it )

Also get something like a cotton bud & clean the top seatbelt mount on the B pillar.
