Hi,

So I just bought(July/14) an 09 Tribute with 126K. 4 cyl automatic. A few days after I got it the check engine light came on. The place where I bought it checked with machine and it was a code of P0442, small evap leak.

They replaced the "easy gas" seal or flapper thing. reset. A few days later it comes on again. Same code. This time they replace the filler neck. reset. A week later it comes on again. They replace something that connects to the gas tank or something and some solenoid. reset. A couple of weeks its on again. Now they change out the PCM and flash it or something. reset. It's on again. now they are going to replace the charcoal canister.
Every time they do something they do a smoke test for leaks and nothing.

Here is the strange part: Every time the light comes on, I am around(just above) the 1/4 tank mark. Every time!

Any ideas?
