I'm looking to do some simple mods on my 2003 6s and haven't had much luck finding info. For example, I'm trying to find some kind iPod/aux input that will work with my factory stereo, but Mazda doesn't make anything for cars older then 2005 and they can't even give me any specs on the head unit so I can find something myself! So, after checking out some forums, this one seems to have the best people and information by far.

I hope to learn a lot and hopefully be able to help others as I learn more from here. Thanks to everyone in advance for your help and for making online communities like this where help can be found when even the manufacturers are useless.

 

Hey.I'm stuck in the same position.I have an 04 mazda6 and have'nt been able to find much.After searching thru mazda and also thru every stereo shop for some kind of plug in or adapter,I gave up and went with the cigarette lighter adapter in lew of changing entire stereo system.However they do make a faceplate kit if you want to change to a ipod ready stereo system.If in your search you find any engine upgrades other than cold intakes sytem please let me know.
