All of the RX8s I looked at a line or crack outlining the passenger dash airbag.is forming, I am fortunate that my car has only a line around the top half of the airbag opening.. Is it expensive to replace the whole panel or just live with it. Anybody had this done? I do keep a chrome dashboard cover in place when car is parked, but living in a condo with no indoor garage that's the best I can do. I am a retired avionics engineer so if I can repair anybody's sound system or offer advice please contact me.

I don't believe you can buy just the panel. I think it comes with the passengers side airbag assembly.
