Default Interior Chime Problem (new to forums hi)

I guess firstly i will announce that i come from a background in honda mechanics and tuning.
Today I was graced with what i can only think to be an act of fate when today my uncle tossed me the key to a 1987 RX-7 N/A. After one night of driving it i believe I am falling for the car. Shes in almost great condition less thank 80,000km (canada ;-P). Of course most of these posts seem to start this way and then move to a somewhat frightened "tone" and something like "help i love this car but its so screwed up" Never the less mines not half bad, and it really wants some TLC. Mechanicaly, Ive made a tune up list that i have started going through already and seeing great results, however electronically I have some issues. Ive searched the forums and several others still coming up slightly empty handed. Perhaps some of you experienced RX-7 mazda enthusiasts could offer some insight.

My first electrical problem is that the front windshield wipers do not stop wiping. To temporarily fix this problem I pulled the wiper fuse. And I suppose will avoid rainy days? lol Is this a common problem? is there an easy fix before i start printing out wiring diagrams?

My second issue is that I cant stop this "interior chime" from constantly chiming while im in drive gear (automatic trans) I figure its a seatbelt warning chime or perhaps anti theft but i cant seem to find a fuse that associates itself with the noise, I guess once It can be identified ill just remove the fuse providing its not on the same circuit as more important things Now I read something very brief that mentioned if certain things are disabled the ECU will charm at you all the time. However no engine/warning lights are on once the motor is started, and they all light up before the start so I know it cant be that. I also understand this is a way the ECU gives out engine codes however its ONLY when im IN DRIVE. (sorry for caps just for emphasis not yelling :-) And i understand the ECU error beeps are on all the time.

Anyways this car is great and we are just getting to know eachother, please help if you can great forum great to be here great car!

Thank you and Regards!!!

Spent all day drivin / tuning, She burned 1/4 litre of oil in a full day + night of driving. I hear that they burn oil but is this normal?

As far as my interior chime problem, we identified that it happens ONLY while the car is rolling. When the car is stopped and placed in neutral the beeping goes away and comes back as soon as you start actually rolling , not nessicarily when in drive. My buddy isolated the location of the chime to a steel box, unplugging this box did not stop the beeping. Just dealing with it atm any thoughts ?
