Default washer fluid pump/connectors?

I'm having problems with the washer fluid mechanism in my 1990 protege. The switch seems to work and all my fuses are in good order. I've checked the hoses - no blockage. I've replaced the pump and still nothing!! Is it possible that I need to replace a connector or 2? There is really nothing in my Haynes manual that covers this and I have a hard time figuring out electrical diagrams. This minor problem is quickly becoming a major annoyance. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Default RE: washer fluid pump/connectors?

Have you checked to make sure there is power at the washer motor when trying the washer? Check the BLU/ORG for 12V with a test light. The BLK wire is ground. Make sure the ground connection is tight too. The washer runs off the same fuse as the wipers, so if the wipers come on the fuse is okay.
