Syphoning gas out of Protege
Hey guys,
So if you've been following my previous posts i decided to sell my car to a junk yard after my timing jumped and bent my valves.
So, of course after doing my research i found out that the Protege has an "anti syphoning mesh" that keeps a hose from reaching into the tank.
Is there anyway to bypass that? drain plug, drop the tank or anything?
Any help is appreciated, thanks guys : )

I think the fuel pump is accessible when you remove the rear seat bottom. Then you can remove the fuel pump and get to the fuel. Do I have to tell that it is flammable, toxic if ingested and downright nasty when you get it on the skin? How about breathing the fumes?

Good thing!
I like to be on the cautious side when posting. You will not be the only one reading it because it is open to the public.
I kind of wonder what you will buy to replace the protege.

Ill be using my girlfriends Saturn in the meantime.
Sucks this happened right before our baby is due and I put alot of new stuff in it. Coils, Plugs, etc etc
Oh and on a other note. I couldn't get the pump off, the screws were stripped as hell
