Default Replacement Jack

The jack on my protege has rusted to oblivion because of water leaking into the trunk (whole other issue). Do I need an OEM jack? That little slot that fits the edge on the bottom of the car looks rather important in making sure the car doesn't fall. If not what size jack do I need?

I bet you can find an original jack at a junk yard.
