Default have a bad rust spot in trunk where rusted jack was

what metal would be a good choice 2 weld in 2 cover it and is this a common problem on rust belt bg's? seems 2 me that because theres a little bit of a dip 4 the jack that it's preatty common any help is awesome thanks!

I'd hit the rust with a steel wire brush, then paint over it with a product called picklex. It will seal out the oxygen to the rust and actually change the properties of the rust so that it doesn't get any worse.

I'd try and figure out how water is getting into your trunk. It should be bone dry in there if all of your seals are doing their job.

well i also got water in the drivers side front and back just found out about it 2day cause 1st time its rained since ive had car. but it wasnt 2 bad just something 2 **** me off
