Cool Protege drive axle

Hello again! I posted recently on tranny removal, but now i have a question about removing passenger side drive axle. I got the drivers side out no problem, but the pass. side has a hanger/bearing. Does it spit at the hanger or do i unbolt the hanger and pop the whole axle out from the tranny same as drivers side. Any hints or tips would be so greatful.Oops forgot to mention it's a 2001 protege es 2.0 manual.

I believe that the whole axle pops out. I may be wrong, but that is the way that I remember it.

Thanks, i just read on another forum that it splits at the hanger bearing. Now i'm confused. Don't want to pry too hard on something if it's not meant to come apart.
