Default Overheating/Coolant Fan

Temperature went 3/4 the way, never higher. Parked it then checked to see it was some pressure build up in the coolant overflow (No bubbles but coolant almost to the top of tank). All this started the same day after noticing my A/C would turn on and off blowing warm air.

Next day I tried bleeding air out the system. Car temp went half way and after like 4 mins of that the coolant felt like it more reached a boiling point in radiator to start gushing out of it. COOLING FAN NEVER CAME ON. Unpluged the temp sensor and the condesor fan ran full blast. Nothing for the coolant fan.

Is there another way of testing the coolant fan before assuming its dead?

Apply power & earth directly to the fan & see if it runs.

Good News: Found out the problem with the fan. It was the relay so switched it with the AC Relay.

Bad News: Even though the fan turns on when hot, Temp still went up a bit with boiling in the overflow.
