keyless entry stopped working

Default keyless entry stopped working
Hi-

I have a 2002 Maxda Protege ES. The keyless remotes (both of them) stopped working. I did the obvious and changed the batteries to no avail. I am thinking it is something on the car end.

Can anyone give me any direction on where to start?

either the receiver or a blown fuse. do the locks work when you press the button on the inside of the door?
