Idling Issues after replacement parts.
I have 2002 Pro5 and my check engine light came on. I got the codes pulled on it and it was P0037.
So I decide to do some maintenance on it:
Any ideas on what I can do or the problem?
Thanks,
Pixelmonkie
So I decide to do some maintenance on it:
- Check intake hose for cracks and was secured
- MAF removal and cleaned
- Replaced spark plugs
- Replaced O2 sensor rear
Any ideas on what I can do or the problem?

This deep drop of the idle often is caused by a malfunctioning EGR valve. I suppose it doesn't completely close.
So, take it out clean it well and make sure the valve moves with ease. Also make sure the nipple for the vacuum hose that goes to the EGR boost sensor is not clogged. It sits on the back of the intake manifold in my 98 protege.
