fuel cut when cold

Default fuel cut when cold

I have a 2003 mazdaspeed protege and i uped the boost a little, but now when its really cold my fuel cuts when im under boost? anybody know how to remedy this?

sorry i forgot to introduce myself.. i was a guest member of the forum at msprotege.com but they wouldnt allow me to post anything? anywho, im from cincinnati. i have a 2003 mazdaspeed protege with quite a few mods.

one step colder ngk spark plugs
perrin intake
street until intake manifold
blitz in cab boost controller
new 8lb wastegate actuator
protege garage SMIC
2.5 catless downpipe (no muffler, its a side shot. comes out just infront of rear passenger tire.)

sounds like you need some fuel management. how much boost are you running exactly? the 440 wrx injectors are a good idea and you don't need to get a new fuel pump for them. a fuel management system is an even better idea here.

you may just need a fuel regulator.
