best fuel milage?

Default best fuel milage?

just wondering what the best rpm range is for good milage. i know that every car is diff but i was just wondering about the 02 protege5.

on my car specifically, the best mileage that i get is on the highway at about 3000 rpm's. i also have a CAI, header, and part of the exhaust completed, so it is different for me.

my car is a bit ill at the moment so my figures arent very accurate for stop and go driving but i get my best millage wen im cruising at about 3000-3500 as well

i have cai, headers and cat back. i heard from 2 friends, one that 2500-3000, the other 3000-3500. thanks guys.

mine hits a kind of lean spot at about 3500 and i don't like to keep it there very often, but the tuning that i am going to do next is going to take care of that.
