I did a little more digging on the front axle and the center axle support does have a bearing in it. I’ll replace that bearing (only need to pull the passenger axle out of the way) and see if that helps but first I’ll try your hose stethoscope method to see if I can hear any grinding with any luck it will be a $50(25-700) fix and some on my back labor. I’ll let you know.

Sorry for the slow update. Got slammed at work so I couldn't do anything.
Got back under the car today and tied the hose method to see if I could hear anything on the bearings with the wheels spinning. Seems a little louder on the top side in the engine bay, though. Well I tried so into the transmission shop it goes and we'll see what they have to say. Hope its not to pricy.

My two favorite cars.

Update from the Trans Shop "bad wheel bearings" also said bearings are not seating properly. So I botch that job up, live and learn.
This time I'm buying new hubs and new bearings as the old hubs were so rusty I couldn't get them clean enough for the bearing seat. The trans inspection has free, new hub is $80 + $50 for the new bearing, I should have bought a new wheel hub first time around when I seen all the rust caked on the inside.

Thanks for the update. Good to see it won't cost you an arm and a leg.
