I have a problem with my2000 model B2600 manual efi engine it hesitates uphill and just on take off feels like fuel delivery problem but thinking its ignition now changed fuel pump and fuel filter, spark plugs ,ign leads it idles normal and when on highway runs good till you hit the accelerator a little bit then it hesitates like a real bad miss also when i took the spark plugs out i had noticed 1 &3 are running rich and 2&4 seem to me not working very clean ?? any suggestions thanks in advance

I'm pretty much in the same boat chief, bought a 1998 B2600 yesterday and somehow managed to drive 59km's under similar conditions before she stopped wanting to play ball 1 kilometre from home. Towed it the remainder and after cleaning the MAFS, inspecting all the plugs, leads and changing the battery we were able to drive it up the road about 2km without any issues whatsoever before it started hesitating / misfiring / getting sluggish again.

Fortunately my housemate is mechanically minded and is helping me to diagnose / resolve this issue by going through the process of elimination but ultimately we're both new to Mazdas and the G engine. We're going to address the distributor as that looked kinda funky and go from there I think, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and naturally we will share our findings. Hope you're able to sus it out and find out what's causing you grief

Happy Australia Day

Sorry for the delayed response, I'll keep it short and sweet. I ended up fixing my misifre by replacing the dizzy cap rotor and replacing the sparkplugs

Hope it's all going well for ya mate
