Ok I installed new CV axles in Sept its october now an the drivers side axle broke off at where the circlip is and the axle slipped out . any ideas is that just a bad axle that faild? Or was the axle itsself not the correct on (looks like the correct length and fittment was correct.

anyway I pulled out that axle and will need to source a new one, the bad news I retrived the circlip but the little dime sized broken off part fell into the trand ...how do you get it out? there doesnt seem to be a trtrans pan in this 1996 protege dx
