I gave a 99 protege 1.6 just had timing belt and water pump replaced power steering pump plugs wires maf tps and it has good compression when I start it it idles fine but if you hit the gas the rpms don't change no check engine light or anything I've been stuck with no car a week I have 3 kids and it's hard not having a car for work I need help please

 

I would take it back to the place that did the work. Quite possible they messed up the belt timing or something else.
