I have a 2001 mazda protege lx 2.0. The CEL came on not long ago with the codes p0705, p0660 and p1569. Not sure if all are related? Now today on my way to work, as I was turning onto the highway, it shift out of gear. It seemed as though it was shifting randomly into the wrong gears. I was able to drop it into first and second and it seemed as though it was working fine, but once I would put it into Drive chaos would ensue once again. Where should I start with this? Seemed like a sensor issue but I'm not sure. Also I should note that when this all started the CEL went out and the O/D OFF light started flashing which I've never had happen before. Thanks for any help!

 

I am having close to the same issue. My OD/ OFF light is flashing and my trans is acting all funny however when my battery light is on it shifts just fine but all all wacky if the battery light is OFF... Ill post here if i figure anything out that may be of help to you.
