Default 98 protege 1.5 missing when wet @low rpm

I have a 98 protege that started to miss at low rpm when it was damp outside. The problem has been getting progressively worse and happens all the time. I've replaced the spark plugs & wires, distributor cap, rotor and most recently the distributor. Nearest Mazda garage is quite far. I've spent quite a bit at two garages to no end. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

When was the last time you had the fuel filter replaced? That would be the next cheapest thing to try. Have your shop do a compression test, to make sure the engine is in spec..

I had the fuel filter replaced about 8mos ago and compression test was excellent. I did have two codes come up on the obd scan and will post tomorrow. Thanks
