More B2600i problems
Here is a list of problems for my 90 B2600i.......if you have had similar probs.....let me know what you did to correct?
1. Need drivers seat.....current seat broke at the bolt.
2. Tried to put in freon, but after we hooked up the can of freon to the adapter....the freon would not go in as if it were full?
3. When i hit my brakes the front end pulls hard to the left?
5. I have the most annoying squeaking noice while driving coming from the front end around the shocks.....
6. Someone tried to break in my lil ole truck and now the chrome door handle is just hanging there, feels like the internal mechanism is destroyed.

RE: More B2600i problems
My protege had the same problem with the broken seat, had to go to a junkyard and found another.
When adding freon are you trying to add while it is running on the low side? Does the compressor come on? You may not be pressing in the schraeder valve when installing the adapter too not allowing freon to enter the system. Make sure the freon can is fully pierced on top with the tool too.
When you have a hard pull while braking, it is most likely a faulty rubber jumper hose that goes from the frame to the caliper not allowing hydraulic pressure. You could also have a seized brake caliper on the pass side.
For the squeaking noise can you bounce the truck and hear it while sitting still? Get a buddy to bounce it and see if you can locate the noise.
You will have to remove the door panel to see what is broken inside the door and then get another handle. Most likely the rods are loose and have to be put back in place.
