I just got done changing the water pump on my Millenia with a 2.5L V6, and I'm finally ready to start her back up. So I turn the key and it just kinda whines, like only the starter is running. So I check to see if the crank is turning, and it is, but pretty slowly. I have spark, but the rotor is only making about 1 1/2 revolutions per second. I tried spraying carb cleaner while I cranked, didn't help. What could be wrong???

 

Check the crank angle sensor, My milly had somewhat of the same issue as yours, refitting the sensor allowed mine to "live" again.
