Default What should I do with this car

Hey guys, I have a 2001 Mazda Milennia in decent condition. It has 88k miles, it runs like crap and has zero acceleration power. The Mazda dealer in Louisville KY looked at it and said the supercharger is destroyed. Any I deals what I should do with it I trying to get $1500 for it just to get it out of my driveway

(I'm not intrested in fixing it, I just bought a BMW in need of a head. So don't have much time to fool with it)

good luck getting 1500. maybe 500. resale on these cars sucks. you would be better off donating it, and taking the tax writeoff

So this is really a For Sale ad? There is a Forum for this. Ever heard of Craigslist or a simple sign in the windshield?

im not trying to sell it on the forum, i was referring to anyone thinking 500 was a fair price.. but now that i re-read that i can see how it could easily be understood as an offer of sale

Really, FutureFuzz 26: you answered all your own questions. Push it out to the road with the a sign: 1st 650 cash takes it.
Then you have 650 to lavish on the bimmer! or better yet, take your girlfriend shopping!

Just looking out for you.

well, you may be luckier than you think. if you have a bmw 528, e39 or later, then it has an aluminum block. dunno why it needs a head, but if it overheated, there is a sib that says to first try to retorque the head bolts(angle torque), and if any of them pull out of the block, then the block is trash. big problem with m52 family of engines. dunno about m54 and later...oh, lookee, m54 and later, too:
