Default Help babyhuey

Babyhuey, I read alot of your answers and you really seem to know your stuff. I would appreacate your help with this one.

I have a 95 Millenia S with a MC engine that will run on 5 cly from time to time. We replaced the #2 injector last week and it ran great for a short time. Now it is acting up again. The CE is on but when I jump Grd and 10 no codes are present. Could it be a bad coil pack on #2. Help

We haven't seen babyhuey in about 3 months...not sure what happened.

Have you tried using an actual code reader? They don't cost anything to borrow and they even translate the code into what is wrong.

most of the 95 is still obd1.
since #2 coil is right there in front, just swap it, and see if the miss follows it. it only takes about 30 min to pull the coils on the front bank

Thanks , I will try swapping the coil. Does anyone know if a defective coil can cause a new injector to fail ??

It shouldn't. A bad coil should just prevent spark at that cylinder.
