ok, lemme get this straight. you are driving 65 mph with your foot on the brake, and there is a humming sound. when you lift off the brake, at 65 mph, the sound stops. first thing that comes to mind, is why anyone drives 65 mph with the brakes on. second thing that comes to mind is the humming is probably the overheated brake system boiling the fluid, or the wear indicator on the now worn out pads, or the car just screaming to stop riding the brakes.
