Squealing Sound After Snow Storm
Our 2012 Mazda CX9 always drove perfectly until this last snow. Car was parked in the driveway when we got 11" of snow. We cleared the snow and drove the car but had to return home immediately because of an awful squealing noise from the front end. It was worse on left turns, barely noticeable on right turns, and got very loud when applying the brakes. Kind of like rubber on rubber kind of squealing sound.
When I got home, I looked around the wheels for any foreign object that might have been lodged in the wheel or brake calipers, but found nothing.
Car was fine yesterday when we drove it.
Could there be snow or ice that got into some part of the front end that is causing this noise?
