Seatbelt Extension
Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me out. As mentioned in other posts, the seat in the CX‑30 is pretty narrow and the seat belt buckle is hard to reach thanks to the bulky centre console. I’ve been told you can use a car seat belt extension to effectively raise the buckle so it’s easier to access. I ordered one from Amazon and took careful measurements of the clip, but when it arrived, the extender would accept the car’s buckle — but the car’s clip wouldn’t fit into the extender’s buckle 🤦♀️\
Does anyone know where I can find a proper seat belt extender in the UK that will fit the CX‑30 driver’s seat? TIA!

What you are attempting could affect your SRS (Safety Restraint System) effecting it operation in an emergency. These are NEVER recommended to use for your own safety.
Just because a part is available does not mean you should use it and, in this case, you are going outside the engineered and design of a SAFTY system of your Mazda.
Ask yourself is it worth rolling the dice on my life should the SRS system fail to operate correctly in a crash?

won't extend it but may make it easier to buckle...we used these in my wife's car to make it easier for our child to buckle in...

And they do not effect the SRS system in anyway!!!!
Now if that is what the OP was using then they would be good to use. But the OP was not clear on what they used.
When I get mine I will test them and report exactly how they perform and if there are any issues to consider using them. But looking at them and the video's I can't see a down side?
