Default Removing seat belt vibrates the seat

Hello Everyone,
I just bought a 2019 CX-5 Sport and I have a question about my seat vibrating. When I park the car and undo my seat belt, I get a rumble in the back of my seat. It does not happen all the time. I can't figure out for the life of me what is causing this. Is it a reminder to do something or a warning to do something? Has any one else had this experience?

Thanks,
Matt

Does it feel like the lumbar support is moving/vibrating?

SO, this should be pretty funny. The wife and I were trying to troubleshoot this over the weekend. I would go in reverse, then forward, turn off the car, then release the seat belt. Still happening. So we try it again. This time I look down as she unbuckles and I notice that the connector for the seat belt is shaking. So I give mine a flick, and sure enough the entire seat feels like it is vibrating. So the whole time it was just that stupid seat belt connector :-). Glad it is solved, was driving me nuts. Thank you all for your responses.

Thanks,
Matt

Maybe that’s an unpublished feature. Mazda is known for that. When I had my 2019 CX-5 GT (non-turbo) I did not know that there was a “Cylinder De-activation” feature of that CX-5 until I got a recall notice. CD was not written on the vehicle sticker. Yup, probably an unpublished feature.

Check out my post right above yours. I figured out what it was.
