Default Recommended Oil for 2010 CX-9

I have a 2010 CX-9 with 110,000 miles and always seem to be low on oil (no leak and regular oil changes) What type of oil is recommeded for me to add? Thank you!

Check your Owner's Manual; if you no longer have it, you can download one from the Mazda web site.

The oil filler cap shows the correct viscosity for your engine. All major brands are about equally excellent.

The next time the car is in the shop, you might ask them to check the PCV system. If it is clogged oil can be forced into the combustion chamber and get burned.
