I was taking my golf clubs from the back when a club got stuck on something when i has pressed the close switch, so the liftgate came down and stopped on the golf bag. I had to gently push it closed. After that it would not open, just 3 beeps. I brought it to the dealer and they fixed it no charge.
They said it had to be re-calibfrated. I don’t like things like the automatic liftgate i prefer the old manual way one less thing to break.
I love the cx-9 but the rear liftgate is a lousy design.
