I need the codes, procedure to turn on the hands free lift gate on my new 2020 cx9 red Signature. It was something like press two buttons at the same time. I saw it some where, but cannot find it now. Some thing like press and hold two buttons, THanks

Never heard of it being turned on or off. You just press the button & it opens, push it again and it close. If the vehicle isn't equipped with the button, then it's not fitted.

Then you do not have the hands free lift gate. I can do the button, I can do the key fob, I can do the button on the lift gate; I cannot do the foot kick. I need the dealer secret code process to turn it on; to turn on the hands free liftgate.

I am on my 9th Mazda. I currently have a 1991 Red Miata, 2004 Yellow RX8 GT, (2008 Yellow Corvette was traded for) 2018 Soul Red Metallic Mazda 6 Signature; and just traded my 2016 CX9 Machine Grey Signature for the 2020 Soul Red Metallic CX9.
They all have hidden codes. Here is an example I was able to google:

"I know this one works on my 2018 to access a Diagnostics Menu. It should work on 2016-2019 models.

Press and hold three buttons on your InfoTainment controls:
Music, Favorites, and Mute.

Your InfoTainment screen should turn white with a numeric keypad and three buttons for starting and stopping the various tests and for exiting the menu.

I don't have the car with me at the moment, but there's various options for testing the GPS antenna, speakers, and for reading diagnostic codes."

I am fully aware of the MZD connect diagnostic mode, and it is nothing new. Mazda has had similar menu's/modes for at least the last 17 or 18 yrs.
