Hi all. New to the forum so I apologize if this is inappropriate. I tried looking through other threads before posting. Anyway, both headlights went out on my CX9, I bought replacements and driver side went out immediately. I had a shop do some testing and was told the sockets were bad. Its the part that plugs into the D2S bulb. I bought replacements online because Mazda wanted me to buy the whole assembly. At over $400 i said no thanks. My question is how to I go about replacing the sockets? Do i have to take the assembly out? Or can it be done otherwise? 2010 CX-9 Grand Touring. Thanks for any help. I am mechanically inclined but new to Mazdas.
