The left channel of the Bose stereo has not worked in a couple of years. Now the right channel is in and out. When the right channel is out, only the front tweeters function. Can I put an aftermarket stereo in this model?
What happens to the display above the console when the clock and AC/Heater information shows? I don't mind losing the radio portion but what about everything else?
Has anyone ever done this?

 

I tried installing a new Kenwood stereo today. It looks great but it did not correct the problem. I guess the amp itself is out. Any idea where it might be? I have looked all over. I saw one for sale on eBay so I had an idea what I was looking for.
Any help would be appreciated.
