What other vehicles did you consider, research or test drive before landing on the CX-90/70 as your vehicle of choice? What drove you to your final decision in favor of Mazda?

I looked at and test drive the Acura MDX and MDX Type S and the VW Atlas. The CX-70 nearly matched the numbers of the MDX Type S and in some instances surpassed them for $15K less. As a former Touareg owner the VW Atlas, dumbed down the the North American market, had none of the Touareg’s bank vault qualities and a 4-cylinder turbo pushing a big SUV just doesn’t make sense to me. The CX-70’s classic inline 6 architecture sealed the deal for me.
