Hi,
I just purchased a used CX-7, but the locksmith said maybe a fuse us bad, I checked the fuses and all are good. What else can I check?
Thank you in advance

I followed these steps:
Remove key from ignition switch. Close all doors. Open driver's door. Carry out the following procedure within 24 seconds: Turn ignition switch ON and back to LOCK position 3 times. Press and release driver's door courtesy light switch 3 times. Ensure doors lock and unlock. If not, wait 40 seconds and repeat procedure starting with driver's door already open. Press UNLOCK button of each key remote transmitter twice. Ensure doors lock and unlock after each operation. If not, proceed as follows: Press and release driver's door courtesy light switch once. Ensure doors lock and unlock twice. Repeat procedure starting with driver's door already open.
I only have one remote and a regular key, I got the remote from a shop that programs remotes and it was supposed to work, but it didn't.
Is there any other process I need to follow?
THank you
