Hello, My car will no longer lock at all- it is showing that there is a door open - light indicator on the dash. I have today pulled the drivers side internal door off and had a look and undone the wiring which does the central control - for locking - not sure if that is what it is actually called. There were three things that Connected I just put two back and not the third and largest one- when this was all connected when you mannually locked the door from in the inside from the drivers side it gave resistance and continued to try to lock but just couldn't do it.
Anyway I now have to manually lock the doors with the door lock on the inside and can use the key to either unlock it manually or use the keyless to unlock.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so can you tell me how you fixed it.
The research that I have done states that it could be the Comfort Control Body which is located in the drivers side footwell. Just don't want to start pulling more stuff off without know.
And before anyones say's it - I dont want to take it to Mazda as they charge a fortune.
