Default D'oh Door locking problem

Hi Mazda gurus. Please can you help me. Loving my Mazda 6 since I got it, but seem to have developed a door locking issue.
Periodically when I lock the car (using the button), all doors lock apart from drivers door. Similarly, sometimes when I unlock, all door unlock apart from drivers door again !. It my Maz trying to tell me something, or is this symptomatic of another issue ?
Any advice you could give would be great

Sounds like the lock solenoid has failed or there is a wiring issue. If you could please fill out your signature so we wont have to always ask what car you have. So what year?

Estate is the wagon right? Always get confused with the British names for them LOL. Does the door lock manually? Does it lock ok from inside instead of the remote?

When you say manually do you mean pushing the lock down or using the switch? Alot of newer cars when you use the key electrically unlock the door as well, there is no physical connection in alot of cars anymore.
