Default Insuffiecent EGR flow.

I'm a 3 owner so i'm not really on the cx-7 page at all but a friend of mine has an 09 cx-7. I'm guessing between 20k-60k miles, she didn't tell me. She is getting A CEL code for insufficient EGR flow? Is this common on cx-7's? Any good way to fix this?

I have an 04 3 2.0L and flog the hell out of it at 158K miles and Ive never had a problem with the EGR valve?

I've seen bad/clogged EGR valves in my day but this early? Seafoam through the vaccum line? Don't know if that will mess with the turbo though...

In my high mileage 98 protege the EGR ports were clogged and the nipple for the vacuum hose the the EGR Boost Sensor was clogged as well. I cleaned the egr ports in the intake manifold, I pushed a strong wire through the nipple to open it up and rplace the hose with a new one. I also took off the EGR valve and scraped out the passages. My CEL light was out for about a year or so...

You could try to do the same....
