Default EGR excessive Flow

Has anybody else had any occurance with the Engine trouble light coming on indicating Excessive Flow in the EGR valve. I hearing that Mazda is having many call ins on this and tha they are backlogged with requests for replacement parts. I've replaced mine once but now within a week, the light is back on for the same code.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

THIS IS VERY COMMON-AND YES THE PARTS WERE ON BACK ORDER. IF THE LIGHT IS ON WITH THE SAME CODE-CHECK THE FUEL REGULATOR SPEC...YOU WILL PROLLY FIND THIS IS THE MALFUNCTION

Default RE: EGR excessive Flow

Someone else suggested removing the throttle body and cleaning out the port that goes to the EGR valve. I used Carb cleaner , reset the light and haven't had any trouble since. Probably could have avoided buying the EGR valve completely. So far, so good, but thanks for the reply.
Later,
Chris
