Hi guys & gals!! I am a new owner of a 2008 Mazda CX-7. I have been all over the internet trying to find out how to disable the seat belt alarm. I've tried all the so-called fixes (buckle/unbuckle 9 times, then 1 time, etc) to no avail. Is there any way the average joe like me can disable it without the hassle of taking it to a dealer and hear about their insecurities in doing it and charging me $100 or more to do it? I have other questions but I'll see how this one gets answered first.

 

Why not use your seatbelt as designed by Mazda and clip it in?
